Drafting - Busts and Gems

I'm getting close to my first off-season and I was just wondering what busts and gems people have drafted.

it does it at random. Once I had fred davis as a bust and someone else got jo john finaly and he was a 90 coming out of the draft and it was pretty much reversed the other time.

Re: Drafting - Busts and Gems

Is that with NCAA exported drafts or the regular computed generated?

Re: Drafting - Busts and Gems

I drafted Xavier Adibi in round 7...No one else would pick him. If you don't know who he is, he is a stud LB for VT. He was rated in the high 90's in NCAA...This is w/ my imported NCAA roster BTW. Anyways... He falls all the way to the 7th rd, and once I sign him he is a 67. How can I guy in the high 90's in NCAA be a 67 in Madden. Is that the gem/bust feature at work?

Also...After my 1st season the Browns drafted a LE from USC...Can't remember his name, but his overall as a rook is 94! Would he be a gem? I drafted Fred Davis too, and he is like a 73 or 74.

Re: Drafting - Busts and Gems

Ive run a few different test with my classes and have seen the same players grom from high 80's to high 70's. One draft D.Jackson out of Cal had 99 spd, acc, agi and was an 89 ovr yet the next time i did the draft he had 90 ish spd, acc, agi and was a low 80.
Its just random from when they load the draft class.

Re: Drafting - Busts and Gems

I must be totally missing where it says who is a gem or a bust, because I haven't noticed anything different. Or do they just let us find out ourselves?
