Madden sold over 1.75 million in the 1st week

Give it a full week n you will see that it will surpass last week after a week

That only matters if the last year data is based off a literal week or just the Tues to Friday or whatever this data is. Basically, we don't know for sure if we are comparing apples to oranges or apples to apples. We'll know in a month or so how it really did.

Are these figures for units sold. If so, that 200K-300K is a $12-18 million dollar difference. Not exactly chump change.

The previous year data I cited was taken from the same source as this year's info ( vgchartz.com ), and is for the same Sunday thru Saturday period. We're comparing apples to apples.
