I havent seen a facemask call yet. On the PS2 last year they were called a lot. I'm not mad though. I hate tackling a guy short of a first down on 3rd down only to have a facemask call and they get the first on the penalty yards.

Yea....I hate when realistic penalties happen in my games too.

in the gameqube version i have seen this animation. jamal lewis got taken down in mid stride by dre bly and no call. right in front of a ref!

APF2k8 has facemask penalties...excellent animations on them, too.

but.....i don't want to turn this thread into Madden vs. APF.

I have played a ton of games in Madden and have never seen a facemask call, but I see clipping here and there. Why in the world to Madden games call more clipping penalties than holding? That has never made any sense to me.
