simple...do not spend your $$ on Madden 08 360 version.
i'm selling mine and have gone back to APF08.
actually, i'm playing the crap out of Tiger Woods 08 on the 360. THAT game is worth it.

i share your issues and to add: the psychic db's,the lousy collision detection(players moving through each other as if they are not there), and the quick snapping AI all make this game not fun.

Indeed. I am playing the crap out of Madden and enjoying it. It does have it's issues, but It is still good. I am playing on PS3 (not trying to say it's better) and it is a fun game.

Dude, just save your money. I made the mistake to buy madden 2008, and i wish i didn't have because I really wanted to give it a chance. Funny thing is, I end up doing the same thing the previous years, hoping and praying that this will be the year EA got it right, but to my dismay (and i'm sure to many others out there) they haven't. I'm actually enjoying APF more than I do with this game, in fact I haven't even played madden 08 for a week now. Not saying APF doesn't have game flaws of it's own, but to me, they are tolerable/bearable compared to Madden this year (crappy o line blocking, fumbilitis, franchise glitches, overall sub par presentation/announcing). I'll probably end up trading it in at gamestop so i can some credit towards HALO 3.

After just reading a few posts about this game from some OS vets, I didnt buy it. And I dont miss it, APF online is the best Football around. actually ever.
