A Guy Logs onto ebay....

and purchases Madden 08 for the Xbox system. Approx. 20 bucks total. not the 360 version mind you (he'd already gone that path the past 2 years with GREAT disappointment).
the guy finds that Madden 2008 on the Xbox is an awesome game and the ONLY game this year he'll be able to play with content until the 2009 football games arrive (2K8 fun, but zero replay value for offline guy).
Madden 08 on Xbox has (yes, 360 also has some of these features):

• the new Hit Stick 2.0
• the new Weapons feature (the guy couldn't care less about that)
• great Franchise mode
• Skills drills
• Mini Camp
• Mini games
• Madden and Michaels play by play and commentary
• realistic fumble and interception numbers
• smart routes on both sides of the ball
• line and linebackers adjustments
• DB adjustments
• the new Ring feature (the guy couldn't care less about that
• focus on player (where you can focus on a WR ie. R. Moss)
• all kinds of uniform choices available immediately
• Tournament mode
• ability to be the blocker
• non explosion-like tackling
• Create........well.........anything
• the list goes on

This guy is disappointed he didn't get this game late last summer or in the fall. Sure, it's not the newest and most polished graphics, but the trade off in overall game quality vs. the "shiny" version of Madden games makes it a no brainer.
Just thought he'd share with the OS football gaming community his humble opinion regarding Madden 2008 Xbox - great game!!
