WR Option Routes

All I can say is read the coverage.

Am I the only one who loves the delay routes? Where your RB/TE block and after a few seconds break free and usually wide open? In league games these help out big on third downs.

Right there with you, bro -- Love the block and release routes. Usually about the time the pocket breaks down, my HB will trot into the flat and be wide open to bail me out.

I love those type of routes too I almost can get my TE and RB few seperation yards and pick up a few more on big downs or key plays. One thing I've done though it hot routed my RB to block and when my TE let his man go to run he delayed route, my RB didn't pick the block up which was as close as next to a man ran by you as you can get and I get sacked. That doesn't happen often as I normally have time to hit them.

Glad I'm not the only one. It sucks sometimes if your opponent(online) uses a Defensive lineman and they're playing a zone. Sometimes the Linebacker will just be sitting there waiting for him to release. I can read defenses but sometimes it doesn't work out to well.
