Getting 360 Patch

A friend of mine has Madden but no internet connection. Is there a way for him to get the madden patch ? Is it available to download from somewhere ?

Nope, no way for him to get it other than to connect his console to the internet.

Thats terrible. You should be able to get patches via the net like anything else. Is this the same for rosters and other games ?

that depends. If you have a dial up connection then no, you can still download rosters off the net, transfer it to a memory card useing datels transfer kit and get them that way. the only updates you can get is actual Xbox 360 firmware updates, by burning it to a CD-R.

So rosters is ok to download via dialup but not the game updates.

you would need to get the rosters from a roster maker here on OS or another site and then use the Datel Transfer kit too copy over rosters.

You're Xbox 360 will not go online with Dialup.

I have downloaded patches off xbox live with dial up using it as a shared connection it is slow but it is possible.
