Just one other thing....when on D, let the CPU control....
I'm using 10 min quarters now instead of 9 (as previously posted) and I set knockdowns to 0....seems to eliminate "forced" fumbles.....works so far for me anyway.....

np, this is true coach mode, i tried your settings on 10 mins but i forgot to adjust the fatigue slider and the final score was Den(me) 34 Chi 20. 10 mins is dead on and the offensive stats looked good but each qb did throw 4 ints. This was on all pro, i may try a setup on pro.

Well, I may have to make a trip to Gamestop after work!!! Doing a little coach mode with BC NCAA 06 is all well and good but I need some current action. If NCAA can atleast do what you've discovered with Madden then I'll be in football gaming heaven.

K22, i think ill just go with the all pro set u listed in the first post and begin to adjust the awr slider.

i may even head over to footballfreaks.com to find a coach mode set that they use for the pc. Im not sure how close the pc version plays to the console version.
