The facemask on that pic doesn't look like Moss' or Owens' to me. It looks more compact, like the one Madden (in the old gen) refers to as "2-Bar RB". This limits the field somewhat as most WR's tend to have the '3-Bar' facemask (again refering to old gen Madden).

Going off last season, and this condition, my pick is Reggie Wayne. Chad Johnson has the same mask I think but his future with the Bengals seems shakey - not sure EA would go ahead with a player who could be in a different uniform in the actual game (although they did agree on Alexander before he signed his extension in the midst of albeit mild trade speculation). Braylon Edwards is also a possibility, although I'm thinking that picture is of Reggie Wayne. However in choosing VY last season, EA said they'd like to focus more on young players that haven't quite reached their peak yet, which Edwards fits better than Wayne, so he's a close 2nd.

Since when has the gamestop pre release cover ever been an indication of what player will be on the cover. The actual cover photo will not match the shadow dude.

Actually, the shadow was VY last year. I'm not sure it was this early, but it was at one stage believe it or not, I even found the picture it was based on. It depends if this one came from EA or not.
