The Use of Alternate Uniforms Online

Most likey they won't address this issue and you'll have to wait till "Next Year" to wait to see if they give that option.

You may be right, but I'm hopeful that something will be done this year to let alternate uniforms be used online.

Nothing wrong with having a favorite jersey or trying to be authentic by wearing the white jerseys as the home jersey like the Redskins and Cowboys. Personally I'd like to have the ability to use an alternate jersey just because sometimes subtle change can be a good thing.

You are right, it keeps the game fresh. Why would EA not want to keep the game fresh and utilize what is already in the game????

I've read that alternate uniforms will finally be available for online games.

That's great, but will it be like NCAA 09? In that game, you can use alternate uniforms online, but your opponent can't see them. That's strange.

Now before someone says, "Who cares what the other person sees?" Well...I do.

I want to see the alternate uniforms of the other teams, and I want them to see what my Dolphins are wearing. (Those orange jerseys are enough to give me an edge!)

So it's great that we can finally use alternate uniforms online, but please have the home team still choose the home/away jersey, and leave the away team with an accurate selection.

Any news on how this will be handled in Madden 10?

its fine as long as they don't allow the 2 teams playing to wear similar uniforms. Like both teams wearing dark colors or white.

I agree. That's why the home team should get the initial selection, then let the away team choose from the appropriate uniforms.
