Not everything has been bad about the jump to next gen, I have went back to playing 07 for 360 and man, the graphics are amazing. This is one good thing from the engine being rebuilt. Ian, if you can get them to just up rez for next gen as you would like, would we ever see a jump in graphics like this one? I remember you saying that it could be done outside of the critical path, but could the graphics upgrade be implemented after a couple of years? I think this has been done with MLB 2k8, but I am not sure.

That looks like Blitz in an arcade. I honestly don't even believe that anything was rebuilt from scratch.

The player models in 06 and 07 were sooooooooooo bad. What the hell were they thinking with those beasts?

Player models were kinda bad, but the details, lighting, and player movements where better than 08. Some of that is due to the 60 fps lock (which I am all for by the way), but I just wanted to post something positive, because I think the graphics could possibly be the best thing about the next gen editions.
