last year i swore i wouldnt buy MADDEN09 after the poor showing of 08. but i've been playing the hell outta NCAA09 and i actually like it! if NCAA plays this well, MADDEN has to be just as good if not, better! plus when i heard hey got rid of David Ortiz (sexiest player models around, plz). i'll buy it but won't open it til i get some positive reliable reviews.

anyone else surprised they're giving this franchise another try?...

hey whazzzzzzup , i hear you on david ortiz. I played ncaa on the ps3 and found it to choppy on the replays and the cut scenes. did you notice this? maybe its a ps3 thing

once i saw the new producers of EA i was in for another year

Same here. After all the frustrations from Madden 08 and NCAA 08 I told my self I wasn't falling for this crap again from EA, and that if I ever buy there game again it wouldn't be on release date so I could read on these boards if there was anymore game killing bugs. And now a year has past and once again I'm planning to buy there game on release date.

But I'll still read the impressions on here from people who got the game early to see if EA truly is starting to really improve there games again.

I will wait for credible feedback before purchasing. It saved me $60 last year, after I got burned by NCAA 08. I won't let it happen again.

Why can't you believe that you are buying madden again? People have been buying madden regardless of it's quality. What is peoples obesession with departure of david ortiz and/or bashing someone they know little about, the people under him are responsible for alot of the work. The development of madden is the job of dozens of people.

I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...
