Throw while being tackled.

Yeah, I agree with this one, you should at least be able to get the ball out for some "forward motion" action. I many of the complaints about the blitz being too powerful are due to the fact that once the d touches the qb, your pass is interrupted. It's a balance, but you could get rid of it at the last second on PS2 and no one griped.

It seems logical that we should have that in the game. But I doubt that it's in this year. Maybe we can add it on our wishlist for 2010?

This is actually very important to me and hope it was dealt with. It was one of my game killers of previous Maddens.

It's been improved for 09 (we let the ball get released a little bit later), but you still can't actually throw while being tackled. I personally have this really high up on our wishlist for 2010...mainly because we can bring passing animations back down to slower more realistic speeds if the animation is allowed to finish or if you can still throw while being tackled (with a ratings-based hit to power and accuracy obviously).

Make sure alot of these are not automatically complete. Teach people that they need to sometimes take the sack rather than throwing it. Throwing while getting hit should be a risk taking activity. Sure sometimes completions should occur, that's the element of WOW or surprise, but no 2001-2003 style Robo QB stuff where now even when the QB is hit it's a laser and quite accurate. Matter of fact a QB composure rating should be highly significant within this frame of on the field experience. How will you handle that? I would argue the less composed a QB is the more erratic his throws tend to be. A QB with low composure should probably never be accurate when getting hit. I see you mention hit-power-accuracy, but there needs to be a "psychological rating" involved too, which is why I mention composure.

Great Idea!

When I see a QB pass while being tackled, the pass comes out “lazy”…and generally off target a little…….or short. Usually both.

I also liked the idea of increased ratings that were posted on Madden mania. I think they may help in these situations.

I don't want to throw while I'm getting tackled, I just want to be able to throw right before I'm about to be tackled.
