We would have gotten NFL Head Coach for free. Of course that would never happen with a game like this but still, it would have been amazing. Just felt like sharing a random thought.

Let's be serious. EA as a company doesn't care about going "all out" for the 20th anniversary. The most important thing to them is the bottom line. It could be the 100th anniversary and we still would get the same thing as every year.

Not for free, but I would have LOVED for it to have been implemented directly into Madden itself. Not an entirely separate game, because the off-season in Head Coach is incredible compared to the lackluster text based off-season on Madden.

Madden has been out for 20 years, thousands of gamers have been purchasing year after year. They did knock some money off the total price of the collectors additons, but it's still really expensive. It would have been nice to see EA do something similar to what 2k sports did with NFL2k5 and release the 2 games together with a bigger price decrease. A

There is no reason for EA to do this though because they know they own the NFL license and we will most likely never see another NFL game besides Madden in our lifetime. Because of this, there isn't much drive to make the classic version stand out. I would have liked to see a larger price reduction for the 2 games, and/or more content.

The Extras are pretty Minimal aren't they? I thought EA would have gone all out for the 20th year version. We will have to wait half a decade for another collectors version.

I think the 15th anniversary of madden had more extra content. Besides other extras we got a 16bit and 32 bit version of madden.

Aren't Gamers forced to buy the 90 dollar version just to get the Extras? If so thats pretty a low move by EA.

For this version it would have been amazing to be able to play the original madden on the Apple II Computer in 1989, the first console version, a 16 bit version, a 32 bit version, and maybe a 64 bit version from the N64.

Instead only one 16bit version of Madden is included. Yet again, a last gen version of Madden, the 15th anniversary, outplays the Next-Gen 20 anniversary edition, why?

It would have been nice to see EA do something really Amazing/Dramatic to thank all the gamers. Anyone have a list of all the Extras included in the 20th anniversary addition?

EA is smart, they know many gamers wouldn't have spent the Extra money to buy both Madden and Head Coach. So to get the 20th anniversary edition they force the gamers to spend the 90 dollars on both. This will no doubt increase the sales of NFL Head coach, since you are force to buy it, thus more profit. It appears they are giving you a deal but in reality it's a sly move by EA.

Screw getting Head Coach for free.... Head Coach shouldn't exist in the first place. Head Coach is pretty much nothing more than an option/mode that should be in Madden. For that matter, Head Coach already stripped Madden of one ability that should have been in it as it had in the past, and that particular feature is the ability to create a play. But instead of putting it back into the game it came from, it's only in head coach.

Quite frankly that's probably the key feature that pisses me off that is missing from Madden.
