lol...I don't think he has on "rose colored glasses." He is probably one of the most skeptical people on here (based on what I've read) and I think he was coming from a standpoint of "let's not hype it before we play it." Not meaning to speak for him, of course...just the impression I got

I'll go on record saying something similar. I've been a 2K5 guy for years now, and have spent hundreds of hours creating historic teams/seasons (see my sig). But I am really wowed by what the Madden team looks to be producing this year.

In the past, I stayed away from Madden for various reasons. My son always buys it, though. I am looking forward to playing with him this year for the first time in ages.

Kudos to the Madden team. Keep listening to the feedback and take the game in the direction it is currently headed.

I also applaud Ian & Co for what I'm reading/seeing so far with Madden '09'.

And most importantly, for what their goals are for the future.

It seems as though we'll at long last truly have a voice in how the game develops over the next few years. It's good to know at least someone is listening. In the recent past....talking to a brick wall was pretty tiresome.
