Saw this on News for Gamers website and they linked their source below which is Playstation Lifestyle who swears they confirmed it with EA. Apparently, this is EA's way to re-pay PS3 users who didn't get a Madden demo last year.

It reads:

"The demo will be available for free download on August 1st on Xbox Live and PSN.

Note that August 1 mentioned above is Friday, but the demo will be arriving on Thursday, July 31 along with the other scheduled PSN store updates."

Good break for PSN users... I may pick up the demo myself for the 360 when it gets released.

Ahhh it's great to be a PS3 owner. The one thing i'm not happy about is that the 360 version runs in full 1080, whereas the PS3 is only 720p. Anyone know what's good on that front?

They're not doing PS3 users a favor - Sony just happens to update it's PSN content every Thrusday...

This will be Madden demo version 2 (the devs stated it will be very close to the final version which will be better then the April demo build.)

Hopefully OS will create a separate Demo Impressions thread because the first one is 24 pages long.
