If the lowering of the human int slider to 0 doesn't work, this game will be just a better looking version of 08 during single player games.

Especially, since there are no CPU sliders.

Madden still gives nothing to the single player who prefers to just play a season.

The AI has been soo bad recently, that the game gets incredibly boring when trying to complete a single season in franchise mode.

What's VERY frustrating is that, the AI changes very little from year to year. NCAA had the same horrible passing game as last year, and the same 'seems' to be the case for Madden this year.

I'm tired of the maybe next year crap too. Been waiting for next year, for 4 years now.

There is no reason for a game that is 4 years in on these consoles, to have such poor CPU AI playcalling tendacies AND execution.

Looks like it will be another year of just playing online.......SMH.

A point to note, the op is playing on rookie.

Many have commented that the game is a lot harder than previous years, and the defense is really good.

It's not necessarily that Hammond sucks. It's the way that EA mixed his commentary in with the game. Collinsworth actually sounds like he's at the stadium and Hammond sounds like he's in a phone booth 10 miles away. It's the terrible mix coupled with the fact that he's sounds like he's reading and not describing.

I'm guessing they had the lines pre-written(script), they recorded them and just added them into the game at the appropriate spots.
