Maybe Ian or Phil can shed some light on this.

I think everyone is confused frustrated, etc.

Someone may have misquoted, and someone may have misinterpreted.

Well if we had to have unique rosters on to get the Stat tracking. Does that mean we cannot have 1 for 1 trades?

This video on EA's website describes it.

From the video, it's pretty clear that there are supposed to be player stats so either Pasta must have had unique rosters on, or the stats servers are currently down. The guy in the video specifically mentions player stats, says they don't carry over if you decide to reset and do another season with the same owners, and even shows screenshots.

Thus, as someone eluded to earlier, turn ON Unique Rosters and Player stats will be there. The rest of the stuff though is still pretty inexcusable. Surely there is some way to have an authentic 16 game season that replicates the NFL, or at least where a commish could make it into the NFL schedule.

Someone find an answer to the 32 teams = 32 games thing and I might be able to make this work.
Thanks, assuming this is the case (we'll probably be able to try it out tonight) they have unique rosters defaulting to no when setting up leagues. Even after setting up a league with unique rosters on there is no stats section, though I suppose it may appear after playing a game. If it does they probably should have had the description there that you would need it set to yes in order to have stats. I generally would feel that if Fred and I try to figure it out and can't that the average consumer may have the same issue. You shouldn't need to watch a video explaining a feature first.

Agreed Pasta and thanks for looking into this. Also this "Round Robin" type set up is just ridiculous if you have a bigger league.

Pasta Padre is known for releasing info too quickly without fully knowing or researching information. If I were you guys, I would wait for EA reps to explain specifics.

Re: On-Line Leauges- Bad News

A simple work around would be to split 32 team leagues into two 16 man leagues (AFC & NFC). Then have the 2 league champs play a Super Bowl.
