Manually catching the ball. Am I doing it wrong?

while holding the ball as QB, move the RT stick and it will put a blue circle under the closest receiver to you and he will break in the direction that you flicked the stick.

it is essentially another tool if you are forced out of the p[pocket to get a man to go to the open space to dump the ball off rather than scramble, throw OB or eat it. It is simulating a QB directing a receiver on the fly.

takes some practice but i find myself using it once or twice every couple of games or so. (I only play offline BTW)

Have any of you seen the diving catch? I've seen it in a trailer for NCAA(Its Derrick Williams of PSU) and in a Madden trailer(Santonio Holmes) and have yet to get it in Madden or NCAA. And there have been instances where I have a man open and JUST over throw him but if I can get that animation and have him lay out for the ball its a catch.

I've seen it once and it was Roydell Williams of the Titans and he caaught it and it was pretty badass.
