What are your ceremonies for Madden 09?

Mine will be a little different this year. I will pick up the game tomorrow on my lunch and when I get home, I will place the box next to my DEAD XBOX while wait for the box from Microsoft to arrive.

Looks like my launch day will be some time in early September!

go to gamestop at 9pm wait there til 12 so i can be the first one to get the game. ride my scooter home. go inside.put on my old shoulder pads and jersey and helment. turn off ll the lights. light my madden shrine surrounding my ps3 with candles. get on my knees with madden 09 in front of me. worship it. carefully open up madden. put on a player of white gloves. carefully and perfectly take it out of the case and put it in the ps3. bow to the screen til i head the music playing. get up and start playing....i cant wait!!!! this is the best holiday of the year

yea, this marks the SECOND year in a row that my xbox died a week before madden's release. it sucks.

No ceremonies, I just drive to my local Gamestop and buy the game. That's it...Madden hasn't really deserved any ceremonies the last few years.

Well since its Monday i'll tell you what I will be doing today.

Just got off work and will walk the dog eat some food

Play my dynasty with PSU on NCAA til 7pm

Play the demo of Madden 08 until 8 pm (girlfriend comes home from work then)

Play with her (you know what I mean) til 10pm

Put on my Jets jersey and head to my Gamestop in Philly.

Hopefully be the first in line.

Watch some vids on youtube on my iphone until 12am.

Go home put Farve on the Jets if not there already.
Play against my girlfriends brother online until 2 or 3 am.

Go to work for the next 2 days then Vacation starts on Friday.

too bad. This is for you. For whining and complaining about all of us that got it early when most people were actually glad that we had it early so they know what to look out for.
