so it looks like this will be the major issue with Madden this year. Lots of people are reporting this.

I just started my first game in franchise mode on the 360. I was on my first series and it froze.

I did do a few roster updates before I started it though.

What version do you have, the regular or the CE? I wonder if that might be making a difference, too. I haven't had any freezing yet, but I have yet to try out the franchise. I'll give that a shot soon.

I have the CE and no problems yet.

Yea, its not freezing but I keep getting disc unreadable as soon as the action starts in game. I can get about 2 plays in and the console just stops reading the disc. NCAA09 and everything else work fine though.

Just had a freeze on my PS3, 3rd quarter of my franchise pre-season game.

Sucks. It wouldn't even let me quit the game to get back to the PS3 menu, had to manually turn off the PS3.

We could have an issue brewing....

Only freeze thus far was a freeze coming out of a madden '93 game.
