MLB 08 the Show vs. Madden 09

Using your examples:

One looked terrible, flat, bland... because it was. The detail was already there. The actual graphic result? Needed major work. Low resolution textures, limited color palette and so forth that all were upgraded.

The other looked great to begin with but had problems with accuracy. Simple tweak to the lighting, change of a texture and movement of some stadium props.

I think we've deviated from the original point, which was you're being fooled to believing that NBA 2k's gameplay is "next-gen" because they stopped working on the current gen titles. Had EA done the same thing with Madden... slightly changed the graphics here and there... while changing the gameplay ala NBA 2k, would you be singing the same tune? Gameplay is "next-gen?"

Ive never played it, but does "The Show" freeze constantly, have 50 glitches that ruin the experience, and made by a company that half asses the game every year?

If the answer is no, then I will have to say "The Show" is better.

Well let's see, Madden freezes on me every fifth time I save my franchise, thus making me lose every fifth game I play. The show never froze on me.

One messed up hilarious, inexcusable thing about the show.

Why do players only show about 5 years worth of statistics in their bios, no matter how long I play the franchise?

Does sony think I am not interested in those stats? Have they ever met, like, a baseball fan? Is it a storage issue? Because last I checked, the show isn't on Xbox, so there should be plenty of space for that.
