How to stop TO

The other night I was playing on Live against a guy using the Cowboys. TO was catching EVERYTHING! All he had to do was hit the B botton and TO was going up over over my corners and I had no chance. I tried spotlighting, zoning, blitzing.....

any recommendations on stopping TO or really any top WR in the zone?

If you think TO is crazy try stopping Randy Moss.

For some reason, I have more problems with the Cowboys then the Patriots. TO is a beast.

If you really think about it though when TO is truly on his game in real life, he IS unstoppable the dude is a monster 6'3"/6'4" about 220 llbs, fast with great hands...... there is no stopping that. Moss on the other hand, if someone lowers the boom on him one good time he develops T-Rex arms.

Re: How to stop TO

I have a ton of trouble against TO too. For some reason I always seems to be facing the cowboys online.

I found I need to break up his route with press plays and double coverage.

Re: How to stop TO

I don't know how other people have been doing with this, but I don't think you should press TO under any circumstances. Considering he is just as fast and bigger than most defensive backs, trying to press him is like trying to tackle Jerome Bettis with Deion Sanders. It's not gonna work. So depending on what team you are, you may just want to double him up with your number 1 corner and your strong safety, since this guy you were playing with constantly used him he will continue his cheeser ways and probably cause a few interceptions.

Re: How to stop TO

control the CB manually and big hit him as soon as the ball hits his hands. He WILL drop the ball.

I held T.O. to 2 catches, 50yds and 4 drops doing this.
