selecting teams online

Apologies if this is posted somewhere - I looked through the glitch thread (all 37 pages) and for some reason the search link isn't working right...

Anyway, I usually play '09 with a friend and connect through the "my online" area.

Both of us keep finding that when we select a team, "Ready..." flashes for a second, then nothing, but the playbook has defaulted to Chicago. Then it's impossible to get into a game.

Any help would be appreciated.
