You're on a video game forum, soley for sports games...Did you expect to find people here who didn't take sports games seriously?

Well this is OS, so I guess it is a bit more laid back in the sense that no one here is filing lawsuits. But I'm a bit surprised some people take it this far.

Well, I do recall talk by some of writing letters about 2K8. I'm sure some followed through. Also, a funny bit of irony is that many treat 2K Sports with kid gloves on these issues since they aren't perceived as the "evil empire" that EA is. They snatched up the MLB license when it was offered and tried their best to get the NFL too. Additionally, their baseball games have been suspect far longer than Madden has, IMO. They are every much the big corporation as EA is...just not as good at it. This is not a 2K vs EA issue though, so I'll leave it at that.

I agree. I guess "hating EA and filing lawsuits" is the "in" thing these days.

All I can say about this letter, is WOW!

The issues that some customers are experiencing with Madden NFL 09 are not matter of congressional concern (imo). That level of government is not what is needed in order to achieve the desired result of the author of this letter. In my personal opinion, this kind of action is unwarrented.

What will made a difference is accurate, truthful, and detailed feedback from this community. Why go so far, when so little is required?

Gaming is taken way too seriously, and they post in a gaming forum? It all boils down to choices. With football games, there are not any. Al least Ps3 owners had a choice in baseball games. If a person is limited in there choices, and that choice is "broken", then they can either live with it or show frustration. People use this site for venting. I could see more being accomplished venting on this site or forums in general versus contacting legislature.
