Is Madden still worthy of a "midnight release"?

And since it's an NFL product you will surely find it being a yearly midnight release.

I think it's still popular enough to be a midnight release.

After the last few years and especially the last 2 that needed patches because they released beta copies I would not be buying it at midnight if I had the chance.

As long as its the only NFL game on the market it will be worthy. There is no other choice for your NFL fix.

As long as people are willing to show up at midnight and buy the game, yes it is. The quality doesn't is what determines that, the popularity is.

I for one didn't show up at midnight this year. I gave that up at midnight. I think a better question is, is Madden still deserving of us die-hards showing up at midnight. The answer for me is no......for now.

I have a lot of faith in Ian and company since they are apart of our community and do feel next year's game will only improve things. And with the flaws and all, Madden 09 is leaps and bounds better than 08.
