Draft day Busts/Steals

First round 15th pick. Had a chance at a slated top 10 QB..... turns out he was a 69 overall. Nabbed a CB in the same draft in the 6th round projected as 2nd/3rd round pick 89 overall....

And here I though my QB woes were fixed..... changed his name to Ryan Leaf and released him....

Yea, I traded Alex Smith 1st and 3rd rd for Phillip Rivers, and got Washingtons 1st round which ended up being #9.

I lost my top 3 WR's, so I decded in the 1st round I needed a new target for Phillip Rivers....

Ehh...lol'

With the #9 pick, The San Fransisco 49ers draft WR #81 from Miami,Fl Mike Hardy.

I scouted him, looked like a winner

69ovr, I got him on a big contract now too.

Im screwed at WR.

I grabbed Jeremy Maclin in the 5th round...only for him to arrive to camp as a 69 ovr with 81spd. I guess I didn't realize he had his legs amputated during the middle of the college season the year before.

yea. I hate that, I swear they scouted him as FAST..he was lousy.

Out of curiosity, if you backed out and re-loaded, would the same players be busts? Basically, once you import your draft class, are the bust and gem players predetermined?

Not sure if that would work. I kinda like that you can get crap players in the first round, I just wish the CPU made the same mistakes as I do.....

And really a 69 WR for the Niners? that's an upgrade no?
