What I mean by this is the Head Coach, the Offensive Coordinater and Defensive Coordinater. Not like the QB coach and Running Backs coach (although that would be cool), but if a QB does bad, the head coach never yells at the QB coach or if he does good, never praises him. Ya dig?

Another weird question. I'm just gonna go ahead and speak for everyone on this one, because I'm kinda tired of seein' all of these dumb questions from people tryin' to rationalize playin' Madden 09. Alot of these threads lately are from players tryin' to convince themselves and others that they didn't waste their money, when in fact you did. So did I (but, I was smart and returned it for a game with much less bugs and alot more fun and exciting to play). Which one? Hell, they're alot of 'em!
So, to answer your pointless question, yes, we would much rather have a great sports game that engulfs the entire experience of the sport with tremendous accuracy and passion for the game. A new sports game every 2 to 3 years, with regular roster updates and minor fixes in between would be just fine. Again, as long as the game itself IS everything we could ask for, there's really not much reason to rush it out the door just 12 months later. Make a excellent sports game with a long franchise mode, and let us enjoy it for at least 2 years before totally redoing the experience and makin' it even better. Again, this only works IF the game is Michael Jordan (the best) to begin with.

Now, if you truly enjoy the travesty that is Madden 09, then do so, but stop tryin' to convince others.

A new game every two to three years would be great for us, the fans and gamers. however, business wise for EA, not so smart. They are not going to get 60 dollars from every player, just for a roster update every year. instead, a roster update and some pretty new features ( bug filled or not ), wrap it in a package, and call it the next version, and everyone runs out to buy it.

is pretty simple to see, that this won't happen. why would EA give it away for a few bucks, even 20, when they have MILLIONS of people willing to pay 60 bucks for the roster update.

Well Im fairly happy with Madden this year because I cant say its a lot different than what I expected when I bought it. I cant say that Im pleasently suprised or estatic about this years Madden because I think I got what I paid money for. Everyone knows what Madden is and how Madden plays, there is no shock there so to be complaining about it this long is just a little bit crazy. Anyways there will always be this type of talk on all games, that there are bugs and things arent perfect. I am not just strictly a sports game player (which I assume a number of people around these forums are) and Ive seen this type of reaction for every type of game under the sun. Yes people expect perfection from the people making these games, but thats not realistic. I bought a football game, I got a football game. Now I'd be pissed off if I bought a football game and I got Hello Kitty Online Adventures but Madden is still Madden.

And let me clarify when I say a little bit crazy yes I do mean insane. The definition of insanity a very smart man once said is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If you bought Madden again this year expecting it to be different...that would lead me to believe you're nuts.
