Honestly, Madden 09 the game that's sucked the enthusiasm out of me

to the original poster. Why do you get two versions of the same game when they are identical? and Live is HORRIFIC compared to NBA 2k9. Switch: it will change your life.

LOL! I can't help but to laugh at people that complain about how bad it is. It sucks wasting money, but I rented it and found it lame and returned it. I still don't understand why people don't do that more.

I'll just come back periodically to see if any killer patches are out that warrant another rental. Seems easy to me. And you get a nice boost knowing you aren't here complaining and pissed off.

My biggest problem is EVERY YEAR EA removes things then adds thing they don't need to then RE ADDS the things they removed in later years.

2010 needs to start with ADDING back EVERYTHING that has been removed from previous version or previous gens.

We are talking

Chain gang
Ref's on the field
Multiple Camera Angles
User Camera Angles
Proper Fatigue
CPU Sliders

Also every Rating and EVERY Option needs to actually WORK!!!!

Once you have re added every missing feature that you have REMOVED from previous versions of Madden THEN AND ONLY THEN are you going to add new features and tweaks. Even if 2010 looks EXACTLY the same that is fine as long as everything is fixed and every remvoed feature is put back in.

Then in 2011, DON'T FREAKING REMOVE ANY FEATURES, and build on the game.

You forgot accelerated clock. And, its not gonna happen. They're making tons of money. Most people don't give a damn about any of those features.

The real shame is that with Maddens' sales,and the resources of Electronic Arts,Madden Football is not a "state of the art" game with industry leading features and gameplay.Madden should be the title that sets the bar for every other sports game and it isn't even close.
When was the last time a version of Madden did anything better than the competition? It's hard to think of examples;Madden isn't even the best football video game produced by Electronic Arts and it is the 800lb. gorilla of the industry. Again, what a shame.
