Uh, that's a touchy subject. They'll tell you that they are non-bias and are there to represent us. But after reading through the rave reviews from the community days and then playing the finished product, I could see how some would view them simply as marketing tools.

I see...wow...well I will be extra attentive for next years community days to gage if they are really providing us with accurate/informative information or if they are just trying to market the game.

There is one guy, I forget his name Russel something. Only posts in these forums leading up to and directly after Community days. Likes to post photos of him paling with the devs, always says the games are awesome and the "devs really listen"

Never see him post any other time of the year, no idea what site he writes for or how he became a community leader. Honestly I think he is a guerrilla marketing specialist.

So to answer your question what makes the guy I am refering to on our side or even qualified to comment on the game?

Just look for the 100 page thread that starts up on these boards once everyone is enivitably disappointed again next year and there will be no need fo community leaders. Or 50 page thread, depending on if 2k Sports releases a football game, because half of the people buying Madden are merely victims of this monopoly.

Not sure how I rushed to EA's aid. I was making light of the guy saying that since EA is evil and Ian and Phil work for EA, then they are evil. And then someone jumps on me for making light of the situation. How that equates to me rushing to EA's aid is beyond me.

If your response to the Ian and Phil is evil post is supposed to be sarcasm or a joke, you did a poor job in delivering the punchline.

It does, however, look like you're being completely serious.
