I keep in touch every year with all of the Madden forums and EA information that is released. It was announced months ago before release that Madden 09 would have a config that you could alter as Maddens in the past have always had. I could get a link to the quote, but the point now is moot.

Then they said they might come out with a DLC with a legacy config. I kept the faith only to discover last week EA had decided not to and they felt they had done enough.

Please, EA. I don't think I'm asking too much. Next year when you tell us what features are in the game, just tell us the truth.

Fifa has fully customizable controls that are usable online.

Therefore, Madden being 'America's Game' must be better than its soccer counterpart right?

Personally, I love the current controller config. But seriously, give people that like their legacy controls the option to revert back.

No controller config is really a bummer man, I guess the ps3 version will be going back 2 gamestop and I'll stick 2 the ps2 version.

How could next gen ncaa have custom configs and not Madden, their mothership? I just don't get it.
