All this exclusive lincense deal sucks. EA is better at making baseball and Hockey games while 2K is better at football and basketball games.

Yet EA makes NFL games while 2K makes MLB games. That is totally messed up.

So basically you just want them to release a 2k game under the Madden moniker? Ugh.

Oh, and Madden 2005 > ESPN 2k5.

Its to bad that The Show is only a Sony exclusive cause its really is a great baseball game, thats why I bought my PS3 and blu-ray of course.

2K football returns and MVP returns... the best of both worlds.

I'm not sure I understand the buy the tech from 2K thing. I mean, the engine is only as good as those who are developing on it and putting the info in. Doesn't matter how good the "engine" is if the ideaology going into it is flawed.

Well if NFL and EA hadn't taken away NFL2k series there would have been no need for payback.

In the winter of 2005 we all got hosed. We lost NFL2k5 (arguably the best football game to date----next gen included) and we lost MVP series (Arguably the best baseball game...why else are people still playing these titles modded?).

Sadly I preferred both of these and got hosed coming and going.

Can anyone really say that if 2k series had been allowed to continue and evolve that we'd even be talking about 2k5? Things could have been so much better by now, for both Madden and 2k. However, there is no way that Madden NG would ever be so weak with features at this point if there was competetion.

And MVP....It scares me to think of that engine with next gen graphics and lighting like Madden. Who knows, maybe EA would have the same NG problems with that series as MAdden though.
