I think that most people who post negative things about the game and or EA, are doing so out of frustration and disappointment...vs just simple hatred. Just my opinion.

But yeah, I'm with you bro. I didn't buy Madden from 06 to 08 and bought 09 because of the positives I heard about it. But I skipped 3 years because I wasn't feeling Madden 06.

And for a while, I was quiet about the whole thing. But what does being quiet get you -- nothing.

You can't blame people for buying Madden every year because it is the ONLY NFL game out there! So I think people have a right to hate because EA Sports is really screwing us all over.

I'm all for "constructive criticism," but after a certain point, enough is enough and you have to gripe a little. Tmulk, if you have a problem with people expressing their angst in a forum that developers actually check out, then go ahead and remove the First Amendment from the Constitution.

But as long as we have freedom of speech, I say go ahead and complain away.

I don't mind complaints(if they are constructive) and a little gripe here and there.

The game has been out almost three months and there isn't anything anyone can do to improve the game or improve the games from 06 and on.

I think people like LBZ, Bezo Gideon Prime(Apex), joborule, jcvarro, CB and others are putting a positive spin with the forum with well thought out suggestions for 10 and beyond. (if I leave anyone out, not intential) These folks aren't just saying "copy 2k5" and we'll have the best game ever. It appears they are moving on from the past and putting suggestions for the future.

I feel this is the best way to Ian and Philly better prepare for the future. Yes, I'm very lukewarm on 08 and 09, but there isn't anything I can do with the past.

Ian/Phil have both repeatedly said that they aren't going anywhere and the fact that they've put up with some of the nonsense that occured before and shortly after launch shows me they aren't going anywhere.

Besides, they just put people on ignore if they feel the need.

Maybe you haven't seen it, but they have mentioned time and time again that they appreciate all feedback be it, positive, negative, critical, or whatnot. Personal attacks or remarks that don't bring anything valuable to the table are the things they could do without.

To be honest man, it looks as though you are just complaining to complain and get an argument/discussion going. Let me ask you a question, what were/are you trying to accomplish by starting this thread?
