Well yeah, exactly. There are far too many people who think that anything other than run-run-pass-punt is cheese.

Yeah. It doesn't matter whether it's possible to stop it, if that person can't they call it cheese.

The Wildcat was called cheese before the regular season began because it had yet to be revived in the NFL. So at the time, it felt unrealistic.

Of course, that seems ridiculous now that so many teams are using the Wildcat.

It's just a shame that I can't use the Wildcat in Madden 09. There needs to be a system to add plays via DLC.

Re: Defending the Wildcat in Madden 2010

Game ai and physics is stuffed. Of course most of this stuff is cheese.

Thats why we can't sub players on defense on offense or something.

What if i want desean jackson at qb, thigpen at wr.

theres one thing to give us ingame player subs, its another thing to limit who we can use.

Watched it a couple of days ago, was going to post it. It's a good video, but it only showcases a few things the Ravens did to stop it. They did alot more. The key thing however, like he said is gap control and contain.

I'm interested in how EA is going to handle the Wildcat since their game is basically universal in terms of package subs. What I mean here is, outside of the Dolphins, I'm not sure anyone uses that personnel package when they run the Wildcat. The Dolphins use 3 RB's, 2 TE's and go with Tackle over. The Chiefs might, but I know the Eagles, Ravens,

Eagles

WR at Qb

Ravens

2 QB's, 1 FB, 1 TE, 2 WR Base Suggs Package
2 QB's, 3WR, 1 HB Spread Suggs Package
