I got an email from the EA store today advertising their games, and for Madden, it talks about "an all-new Total Control Animation System, built from the ground up" that "allows for instantaneous combo moves while bringing new aspects to the game."

What a joke. It borders on false advertising, IMO.

I'm confused. What's actually false about that? Can you not do instantaneous combo moves as a ballcarrier? Can you not break out of tackles when you could not do that before?

I break out of tackles manually all the time...

its the computer... all i got to do is hold down turbo and it automatically happens

I do it with the hit stick all the time, not with the turbo. I only use turbo when I'm in the clear.

I guess my issue is more with how loosely you guys at EA use the phrase "built from the ground up." I've been playing Madden since 1989, and it doesn't seem to me like there's been anything "built from the ground up" for quite some time now. Yet your marketing department seems to use that phrase with some aspect of the game every year.
