Should mascots be in Madden 2010?

hmm..and NCAA has mascots!!

Point is that we all know mascots don't improve the gameplay per say but they absolutely add atmosphere and realism and I don't think there is one person on these forums that would argue that Madden doesn't NEED that, cause it does!

yes mascots add atmosphere...

but as fans we have listed so many areas of the game that need work. There is absolutely no way they can fix all the issues that have been listed for them.

But for them to spend any time putting mascots in the game when that time could have been spent adding one more thing the entire community agrees should be in the game would not make any sense whatsoever...

Not to say I am against mascots in the future, but IMO I would like to see many other things in the game before I see mascots...

After all, mascots are seen what, once or twice a game in cutscenes?

It looks like the Ravens have three mascots: Edgar, Allan, and Poe.

Baltimore fans would get to enjoy watching three separate mascots walking around during a Madden game. Hey, it's all about simulation!

Actually, in NCAA 09, aren't the mascots visible walking around in the wide shots? That's a cool attention to detail.
