It is funny thats what I thought he made the post about, thats why I laughed, but still giving an award out for best community interaction when the game is awful, makes no sense to me.

The game is awful is 09, not 10.

They have been mostly here for suggestions and ideas for 10.

Exactly. Nothing can be done about '09 at this point. It's water under the bridge. The award is for being the developer that does the best job of listening to the user community about how they can improve their franchise.

As long as Ian doesn't make a comment on Madden 09 winning a awards, everything is cool. They have interacted with the community well and deserved the award..

We are not sure that they really listened yet though.....we won't until next year. I am very glad that they are here... it is far overdue, I just hope that they are listening and not simply hearing.

This could simply be damage control in an effort to save some of (most of) us who buy every year, and bi*$h about the same stuff being broken every year.
