How significant will the Super Bowl announcement be?

Should we be expecting something major like: "Take your franchise online!"

Or will it be something less significant like: "Create your own celebration!"



Just wondering what we should be anticipating. Right now, I'm expecting a major bit of Madden 10 news around the time of the Super Bowl.

I was thinking a slight run-down of the fact sheet. Ex:

(insert number here) animations added

In-depth franchise- Take your team to the championship, again and again.

Two games will never be the same (this would be awesome)

Smart CPU AI

etc. etc.

Perhaps, but I think they'll reveal one major feature and save the rest of the list for later.

Don't expect a major announcement. We've been told we can't really talk about anything related to Madden NFL 10 until the Super Bowl. That doesn't mean we are going to start our marketing/PR blitz at that point.

We'll get out some level of information, just don't expect a major feature announcement or fact sheet.

Thanks for the info, Phil. I was looking forward to a major feature announcement, but "some level of information" is still interesting. I think. lol

My revised guess:

The info will be a release date and perhaps a few screenshots, maybe one that includes a referee.

I think the announcement will be a poll, that us fans get to vote, for whom is on the cover. (Kind of what FNR4 is doing).

Not to call you out bro', but thinking that we were going to get a major announcement in a few weeks was sort of naive .

Any information we get now really is just a bonus, especially with it coming so early. But we gotta figure that places IGN & Gamespot will be the "major feature breakers" as they normally are.

I'm expecting information along the lines of what we have seen thus far: mo-cap vids, polls, topic discussion, etc. However, I don't expect this all at one time.

Still, I'm glad you popped the question to clear up any expectations that people may have.
