Like any other feature of the game, if you don't like it, no one should force you to use it.

See, Banana -- that will start a lot of problems among Madden Nation because when you go to a Madden Bowl that Fairplay is not on.. now if that Fairplay is turned on then its going to cause an uproar. Leave the Fairyplay alone, the online games are so much better now without them.

I said it before and I'll say it again.

No to Fair Play. Work on the game to make it more difficult to be successful on 4th downs and no huddle up the field. Just because you banded the problem for online, your taking away the freedom of coaching and play style of football as well leaving the issue there for games without fair play and offline play.

Solve the problem rather then putting a wet band-aid on it!

Even if the game had absolutely perfect gameplay.

There will be nothing to stop people to go for it on all 4 downs.

It is statistically more reasonable to go for it on every down, then to punt and play defense.

So why should we prevent that? If you don't like the way some people play the game because you find it annoying, then play with friends and people play styles you approve. Don't force users to have to play a certain way because some players don't like to have to defend the 4th down rather then get the ball placed in their hands. Every game doesn't have to be the same and prediciatable like it's a CPU game.

Besides, I guarantee that if it's hard to convert 4th downs, teams will punt more often then not because it's a greater chance of giving a turnover on downs then it is currently. And with how short the game are, one mistake in a tight game can cost you.

Thats also part of why I don't want fair play back as well. Say you're behind by a touchdown in the second and you don't have faith that the defense will be able to hold the team. With fair play, we can't go for it on fourth down, preventing us from taking a chance in staying in the game.
