Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with Madden 09 after installing it to their HDD? At half time it freezes up for a bit when the replays load, but then I'm able to play the next half. At the end of the game however, when it asks you if you want to practice and I hit B, it totally freezes and I have to go back to the NXE dashboard. Just wondering if this is a common occurance? I only have around 319mb left on my HDD, so I'm assuming that's not an issue.

it shouldn't freeze just take a LONG time to load. thats why i deleted it fromt he HD and just play it from the disc.

I believe they have stated this game wasn't optimized to be played off the HDD, that's why you're seeing issues.

Mine plays fine off the HDD. Smooth as Butta.

It plays fine, but it's taking a long time to load at half time and took forever to load at the end of the game. It's not a hard freeze that requires you to reboot the system, but I figured something was up as I know the replays are streamed off the HDD at the half. Figured it was trying to read/write too much on/off the HDD.

Yep. The highlights were the issue for me as well. I ended up taking it off my HDD for that reason. The (slight) reduction in load times (and NOISE!) was not worth the pauses/freezing.

You gotta put the game in the console anyways, I dont find a point to saving games on the HDD. Deal with the noise, and load times are not even long on the disc.
But whatever, I dont know why your game is freezing dawg.
