Madden NFL 10 vs. Madden NFL 2010

Madden 2010 looks WAY better than Madden 10

Madden X would be cool, but the X should be like... behind the Madden sign. They should just redo the layout and put the X behind. Madden 2011 will just be Madden XI. Same format.

...then again, it just hit me that some fans might be stupid enough not to know roman numerals, so it may be a bad PR move.

whoever made the final call on calling Madden 2010 "Madden 10" should be promptly fired.

Won't EA be using "10" across the board now? Marketing will probably want to keep it consistent.

NCAA Football 10, NBA Live 10, etc.

That's what I have heard. I think that all EA Sports games will now use the double digits for their titles...

Here is to years of sucky names! If the games play like their suppose to then I will forget about the names...

He should. They will probably do a re-release of the cover like this past year, only this time changing form "Madden 10" to "Madden 2010"

Twenty-Ten would have sounded the best. But there were too many different ways to pronounce 2010.

When you say "two thousand AND ten", you are suggesting a decimal point. So in this case it would be 2000.10 . Even though it's common, you really aren't suppose to say "and" if the number doesn't have a decimal (just a little bit of number grammer lol). But anyways, is it really that much of a problem that people could say it in different ways? I know back during last gen when the game was Madden 2001-2005 some people said Madden 2001-2005 while others said Madden '01-'05 and a few said Madden 2 double O 1- 2 double O 5. But yeah IMO they should a least have the small quotation mark in front of the 10 (Madden NFL '10) since that would suggest that they were talking about the year. They got away with not using one for the past 3 madden games (06-09) since the 0 implied that they obviously were talking about the year. Madden NFL 10 sounds like the 10th version of Madden. But yeah, like I've said before, Madden 2010 is the better name imo.
