I have bought Madden every year since the PS2 came out in 2000. I really liked the graphic upgrade last year, the re-addition of commentary (Collinsworth only), Online Leagues (even though they were poorly done compared to NCAA09) and the Backtrack feature because it looks like something you'd see on TV. Everything else they added was fluff (Rewind, Madden IQ, Madden Test, Ringbuilder and Superstar Mode) - goodbye.

I was really sold on the "Beyond Broadcast" claim they made last year. That really got me hyped. Im weary now because I fear the same promises will be made and not delivered. I dont want to get my expectations all jacked up only to find the same 1-dimensional camera view we've seen for 5 years now. It doesnt represent what football looks like and thus pulls me out of the experience.

What's it going to take for me to buy Madden 10? A real blow out to the presentation. Madden has played (basically) the same for years, and its almost perfect. There really isnt much more I feel they need to do (save some AI CPU behavioral fixes). If Madden doesnt get a big boost in broadcast quality presentation then my long streak of Madden purchases will come to an end. My hopes are high, but guarded. I hope EA will deliver a game winning TD this season.

if teams dont play like how they play on sundays it makes no sense playing this game as a sim.....

i dont think we will get it BUT it will be interesting to see what this game has.

i'll be here in august watching yall disect the game and them go from there.

year after year i hear of all the "goodies" in madden to be bored of it within 2 days.

im still playing apf 2k8 almost 2 years after its release and having more fun than ever.

madden = rent 1st THEN buy it used if i like it
