I was just wondering if Ian or anyone on the Madden team would like to comment on what Peter Moore thought of your early build of Madden? For anyone who does not know, Peter Moore visited the EA studio today to get a first hand look at the new game.

If you can give us any information from today I think people would find that pretty interesting. Thanks!

I heard he hated it and Fired Ian only to replace with another person named Ian Cummings. I bet he even uses the same screen name here at OS.

I really appreciate all that Ian and Co. are doing on the game, especially in regard to the more sim-style approach. It is because of this that I respectfully ask that Peter be kept as far away as possible from Madden. I half-kid, but I get really nervous when P. Moore and Madden are mentioned in the same breath (paragraph).

Lest anyone misinterpret my post as "bashing", I submit that a quick google search of P. Moore will imply that he is in no way friendly to the idea of a sim-style Madden.

Again, not bashing, just nervous.

I can't speak for Peter specifically but overall the feedback on our demo was strong. The game showed pretty well given the current phase of the project.

I'll let Peter give his own thoughts through his blog when the time is right.
