Great Idea for Madden 10 All-Madden Manual Catch

You cannot manual catch in madden 09. You press the catch button. And the dude puts his hands up sometimes. Larry Fitz jumps as high as Darren sproles. There's no going up and get it thats present in ncaa 09.

The catching in ncaa 09 is perfect. Although it may seem a bit easy, with good stick skill, a good defender can break up most passes.

There is no substitute for hops and height.

Lol Kstar and his stick skills, but anyway back to the purpose of this thread. I like the idea the dude brought since because I remember the catching on ps2 was a thing of beauty, and now...not so much.

Might be off topic, but why was strafing while the ball is in the air taken out of 09? It's slightly ridiculous to watch Megatron have to run in semi-circles in order to face the ball mid-flight.

It was to stop the RC. Too bad we figured out a way to still do it though.

Timing base mode was much better and led to more realist qb completion percentages.

Thats what I was thinking. I watch the show for laughs... no offense. Its just funny watching that whiteboy dynasty yelling "LETS GO! LETS GO!" Or One9 thinkin hes all hard and ready to whip some ***. Or that freaky looking thing in the browns jersey, the one that broke that controller after losing to Dynasty... ahhhh, funny stuff.
