How about adding the Long Snapper position also?

This wont work unless roster limits are expanded. Unless the special teamers can double as depth players aswell. But many dont play regular offense or defence

Special teams players generally are backups as well. This is how NFL teams are able to have special teams players fit into a 53 man roster. Expanded rosters do need to be available in the offseason though.
