I am, and until i see proof otherwise that i can throw a pass right over someones head in stride to my receiver, or right over someone playing zone coverage im not gonna be to hopeful about madden 10.

The key is a db needs to sell out on swatting the pass which actually happens less IRL than on Madden, or sell out on jarring the ball loose...

In the video the both players should have went for the hit not the ball when covering in space you might swat the ball if you are expecting help but the DB should be looking to hit the WR or strip not swat the ball

unrealistic vid and technique. guys dont fly in the air to wat passes with their backs turned.

nope does not happen. the proper defense is to try to break up the pass by either trying to get your hands in theirs to knock it out or striping it before they put the ball away.

the pass swat is one of my biggest gripe for years with all football games 2k and madden alike, these guys fly in the air at top speed then land on their feet or at top speed yeah right.

i get the point of this discussion but its been handled wrong since madden 07 for 360. i rather they never jump than do this leap of faith defense. if you notice the db's get higher than the WR on these leaps. how can bob sanders jump to swat a high ball thrown to Plax thats crap he plays for the hit or strip breakup when he tries to secure it.

and this goes directly to the ratings, people gripe if champ bailey does not have a 99 in jumping but that 99 means this garbage animation will occur, personally i edited all defensive players jump to 0.

this goes for WR as well they, few guys make high jumping grabs but the game does not have the right animations as yet, so to avoid frustration put it at 0. you wont miss much plays if any with it at 0 becuase they still jump just not as much.
