Realistic Jersey Numbers...

last gen madden had it down perfectly.....

During my franchise in 09 i saw many players where their number changes to #1 if someone on the team already has his number. Now i like how this solves duplicate jersey numbers but the thing is it is really weird to see a linebacker, tightend ,offensive lineman, etc. who is 6'5" 280 wearing #1. now i now they are trying to make this game as real as possible so just put in the correct number system, it can't be that hard. here is what its supposed to be:

*QB, P, K: primary: 1-19

*RB, DB: primary: 20-49

*C: primary: 50-59 alternate: 60-79

*G, T: primary: 60-79

*WR: primary: 80-89 alternate: 10-19

*TE: primary: 80-89

*DL (NT/DT/DE) primary: 60-79 alternate: 90-99

*LB: primary: 50-59 alternate: 90-99


PS: last gen madden had this rule down perfectly. This is just one of those little things that will make 2010 the best Madden ever!

Would you not switch DL to primary 90-99 and alternate 60-79? and also I'd add 50-59 as an alternate for G's and T's, other than that good post and good thread.

I just got that info directly from another site. I am not sure if it was old but maybe there have been some revisions to the rule...? There is actually a link in my first post with all the rule info.
