The one thing I was impressed with on Madden 09

Madden 09 as we all know made some strides last year (not saying much compared to the garbage that we have been dealt this gen), and yes it was imporved and overall decent game of football, far from great, however the one thing I thought they did that really scored points in my book, was how they did the replays.

The controls they gave you were very smooth, combined that with the pretty good player models, and the music in the background, it really did a great job.

Anyone agree / disagree?

Player models were terrible, and so was the replay feature. Just my opinion.

Player models have ALWAYS been terrible in Madden, i really wish they would redo all of them. And the only thing 09 did well was the grass.

I was going to say the grass, but it was actually over done. Since when can you see that much detail in grass? Ever notice how big the grass is, so that you can see that much detail. I wish they would scale the grass down and focus on the players, and REFEREE'S,LOL!

Well then I think I am in the minority because I actually liked the player models, and the replay IMO was very good, giving you ability to move the camera in all directions very smoothly and the background music gave you the atmospehere.

I didn't really like the background music, but i like everything else

why everyone bashing player models? I think they are pretty good, don't like the way some shoulder pads fit(look at Lawrence Timmons or Manny Lawson, just looks weird, so much shoulderpad overhang), thats about it.

Delux, they have completely redone player models atleast 5 times over the past decade, none of them you like? d@mn, lets see you do better


Anyone else really wish you could control the camera on the "wire" highlights? only major complaint
