We've talked about a lot of franchise "tweaks", and my question is, why can't we get a franchise patch since it's going to be another 5 months for the new game to come out.

The reason I believe it's feasible is like I said a lot of the things we asked for are just tweaks to code and wouldn't involve any heavy time investments.

Mainly:

- lowering the percentage of cap increase per season
- increasing the percentage of QB's/HB's in the draft

There are also other tiny fixes that have escaped me as I post this, but like I said we've talked about a handful of tweaks that could be done in a day simply by changing percentages in the code.

What say you Mr. Moore?

They've already done two... that's Microsoft's imposed limit.

I'm not Mr. Moore, but here my best guess.

Madden has already been patched twice. MS allows only two free patches, otherwise Tibouran would have to pay for your franchise patch.

Also, I'm sure the people who enjoy franchise mode would want the Madden franchise team to work on 10 instead of devoting more time to last years game.

My two cents.

Didn't know about that mainly cause I don't play the 360, PS3 all the way. Wouldn't they be able to add it as DLC then?

Again, the stuff they are tweaking are just percentages for the most part. Wouldn't take more than a couple hours and I'm sure some intern could probably handle it.

Madden tried to give us DLC last year but it didn't come to fruition. They tried to give us CPU sliders, accelerated clock and I forget what else, but it's assumed MS blocked it.

That is what the college and Madden developers told us when 09 was released. Anything after 2 patches, a company has to pay for with MS
