Could this be possible? (Presentation related)
There was a thread about presentation where you could download live streams from real NFL games online. Pretty good idea if you weren't playing a fictional video game.
It got me thinking however. What if there was a way to stream live footage from other games in your franchise for a half-time/post game show. Sort of like NFL2K5's weekly wrap-up, but with no pre-rendered game replays. I'm talking about replays happening in real-time. You can jump into super sim on NCAA at any time, so I'm pretty sure that there is no problem actually rendering the game footage during the halftime show.
I'm far from being a developer or knowing about what the hell goes on in video games in general, but what would be the major problems with this? I would think 1) load times and 2) matching it up with the sim logic. Why would you show TD when the game is 3-0 or a 88 yard TD by a RB who only has 34 yards on the game so far?
Anybody else think this is feasible?
